AnomiC has earned the honor of opening 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! On Saturday, September 5, the Amsterdam-based trio will kick off the festival with an explosive dose of modern thrash and death metal

Formed in August 2023 by guitarist and vocalist Raafat “Raaf” Atasi, AnomiC delivers razor-sharp riffs, crushing grooves, technical precision, and relentless energy. The lineup is completed by bassist/vocalist Fadi Massamiri and drummer Krzysztof Klingbein, renowned for his work with bands such as Belphegor, Hate, and Vader.

With their debut EP Opacity, released through WormHoleDeath Records, AnomiC quickly gained international attention. Since then, the band has built a strong live reputation while continuing to write new material, steadily carving out their place in the European metal scene.

During the Metalyard Band Battle, AnomiC impressed both the audience and the jury with an intense, high-energy performance, earning them the coveted opening slot at Metalyard 2026.
